Marathi is the language of the state of Maharashtra. Other than Maharashtra, it is spoken in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat & Karnataka. Outside India, Marathi speaking population is found in Mauritius, USA, UAE, South Africa, Singapore, Germany, UK, Australia & New Zealand. It is written in Devanagri script.
